When something goes wrong

Three screens are built for these moments: the Diagnostic page that checks the installation, the configuration wizard that puts it in order, and the Support tab that lets you send us what we need.

The Diagnostic page

Available from the module's configuration, it checks at a glance what the module depends on: Dolibarr version, PHP version, tables present, extra fields created on products, time zone consistency between PHP and the database.

Each line carries a clear status and, when something is wrong, the cause rather than a plain "error".

This is the first screen to open after a Dolibarr update or a server migration. It answers in a few seconds questions that otherwise take half an hour.

The configuration wizard

It walks through the module's settings in the order they matter: default supply mode, warehouse, production delay and capacity, notifications. Each step explains what the setting is for before asking for it.

It is useful at installation, but also afterwards, to revisit a choice without hunting for which page it lives on.

The Support tab

This is the screen to open when you write to us.

The module's log

Since version 1.5.0, the module keeps its own log, separate from Dolibarr's.

The difference matters: the general log of an active instance easily reaches several hundred megabytes, where the module's lines are lost among the core's and every other module's — and a file that size cannot be emailed. The module's log, on the other hand, holds only what concerns it.

The Support tab shows whether it is active, the file name and its size, before you try to send it. A button downloads it.

Downloading is reserved for Dolibarr's global administrator. The log is a single file shared by every entity: its content may carry order references and third-party names from companies other than yours.

Email addresses are masked in it: this file is meant to be sent to us, it must not carry unnecessary personal data.

Setting the level of detail

The log's verbosity is set for the module alone, from the configuration. For a difficult diagnosis, you can switch it to detailed mode without putting the whole of Dolibarr into detailed mode — which would inflate the general log for no benefit.

Remember to set it back to its normal level once the diagnosis is done.

The information we ask for

The tab also shows the module's version, Dolibarr's, and PHP's. These are the first three questions in any support exchange: having them on hand avoids a back-and-forth.

The module follows your Dolibarr's theme

Since version 1.5.0, the module's screens no longer impose any colour: they follow the theme you have chosen, including a dark theme or your company's colours.

If you knew earlier versions, the look has changed — that is intentional. The module lives inside your ERP: it is your visual identity that matters there, not ours.
